ABC STEP Program Safety Rating 2023

Seal Rite Paving has announced it has achieved Diamond Level in Associated Builders and Contractor’s STEP Safety Management System, meaning the company is 655% safer than the industry average.

All employees shall follow these safe practice rules, render every possible aid to safe operations, and report all unsafe conditions or practices to the foreman. Foremen shall insist on employees observing and obeying every rule, regulation, and order as is necessary to the safe conduct of the work.

All employees shall be given frequent accident prevention instructions. Instruction shall be given at each job site and according to operations being performed. Employees are required to wear all PPE, including proper clothing and footwear, and ensure proper fitment prior to performing any job duties, and promptly report any issues to the foreman. When working in extreme heat, employees shall take the necessary steps to ensure prevention of heat illness and will promptly report to the foreman if any symptoms should occur.
